Not the life you planned for. Not the one you dreamed of or hoped for.
The life you are living right now. In the middle of the mess, in the center of the unexpected.
The place where God is doing holy and precious work, even if you can’t see it.
It all began with a little heart that didn’t work so well.
All of this writing. All of this praying. All of this passion to encourage other moms…
It all started when our oldest son was diagnosed with a congenital heart defect and ultimately had a full heart transplant. To read our family’s story through what felt like the impossible, click below.

Full: a prayer book for moms
As moms, we fuel our bodies throughout the day so that we can have the energy we need to sustain ourselves.
We fuel ourselves with water, coffee, meals, and snacks. We feed ourselves with supplements and vitamins. We treat ourselves with sweets or a glass of wine. We can spell out explicitly what we ingest throughout our days to keep us going.
We clearly know what feeds our bodies. But here is my question for you. What is feeding your soul?
Prayer is essential to us as human beings... but as moms, it is crucial.
What we need is a nourishing, faithful relationship with the God who built our souls and knows what we need. And the best way I have found to grow this relationship is through daily prayer.
Food feeds our body and prayer feeds our souls.
